IELTS Online Proctored Mac Setup
IELTS Online (Academic and General) is delivered by IDP and the British Council using their own proctoring platform on Mac. Live human proctor, continuous webcam, screen sharing during the exam.

Listening, Reading, and Writing modules are screen-shared with a remote proctor; Speaking is a separate live video call with a human examiner. The screen-sharing path on Mac uses standard capture APIs that honor window privacy; the overlay is invisible during Listening, Reading, and Writing. Speaking is conducted naturally over webcam and microphone, where the overlay does not interact.
